Deepika Padukone, who had earlier opened up about battling against depression, told the media that,"When we were talking about celebrities coming out and speaking, there is a lot of misconception that depression happens to only the people who are successful.

She further added,"I want to clarify that it can happen to anybody from any field. There is a perception that it happens to big people who are successful or have too much money. It is sometimes perceived as luxury... But, It is important to break that myth now."
